Online seminar to guide hotels on social media marketing

A ONE-HOUR online seminar titled “Making Social Media Relevant” on April 27 will aim to highlight ways for hotels to engage customers using social media.

The seminar will feature guest speakers from Trump Hotel Collection, Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Minor Hotel Group, the three winners of HOTELS’ 2015 Social Hotel Awards.

The three hotels will present case studies on how social media marketing has helped entice and connect with guests.

Trump Hotel Collection has used Twitter to expand its reach and generate more than 26,000 referrals to its website. Meanwhile, Starwood Hotels & Resorts will touch on their 24/7 social care team that has a response time of less than 26 minutes in 14 languages.

The seminar aims to inspire hotels to innovate their own social media programs by providing access to some of the most creative minds in the industry.
