This rural luxury resort in Koh Samui is set amidst paddy fields

FURAMA HOTELS INTERNATIONAL has launched a luxury all-villa retreat in Koh Samui’s Maenam district against a sprawling patch of paddy.

FuramaXclusive Farmers Boutique has 45 villas spread across more than 25,000 square meters of Thai rice fields and offers views of the mountains beyond. The setting is a change from the white sand and clear blue waters usually associated with Koh Samui.

Each villa fuses colonial teak furnishing with modern furniture and coconut-wood flooring while the villa patios overlook the rice fields, ponds and lush resort gardens. Select villas are equipped with private pools.

Facilities at the resort include a fitness center, a spa and wellness center, complimentary bicycle rental, and complimentary shuttle bus service to Chaweng, The Wharf and Fisherman’s Village.

Weddings can also be arranged on the resort site and services from in-house wedding planners can be requested.

The Koh Samui property is the seventh FuramaXclusive hotel to launch following luxury resorts in Hua Hin, Bangkok and Bali.
