Vietnam: Global MICE tourism stakeholders to convene at expo

TOURISM businesses and stakeholders will gather at next week’s International Travel Expo Ho Chi Minh City (ITE HCMC) from Sept 7 to 9 at the Saigon Exhibition & Convention Centre.

The 13th edition of the event will bring together thousands of regional and local stakeholders with hundreds of exhibitions under one roof. The events – what’s claimed to be the largest global tourism platform in the Mekong region – will also provide networking opportunities and access to key business insights.

On top of that, buyers, suppliers, media and trade players will exchange news about new developments in the industry by way of online business matching, trade seminars, and post-show tours.

While the event is exclusive to trade visitors and participants on Sept 7 and 8, the public can visit on Sept 9 from 9am to 5pm.

Increasingly, Ho Chi Minh City has proven itself to be one of Asean’s key regions for important trade events as it has continued to attract considerable commitment to develop its infrastructure to meet the increasing demand for hotels, meeting venues, and transport links.

As investment in MICE tourism increases, Ho Chi Minh City is ever keen to impress.
