"This is a very nice hotel in a nice part of Singapore, with lots of eateries and good cafes nearby, and transport options are also great. The rooms are small, but that is the case for most hotels in Singapore. What makes this place still stand out is its charm and the friendly staff. Free Wi-Fi is another bonus. Rooms are well-designed and good use is made of the space. I will happily go back to stay again." Aroha436, London
‘This hotel is situated in a fantastic location, minutes away from China town and minutes away by foot to the nearest MRT. Do not expect the same as a five star hotel, this is a three star but they have thought of everything.’ HT Evans, Adelaide
"Yes the rooms are small, but what a great place to stay. The rooms are well appointed and functional. The breakfast is very tasty and the staff provide good service. Hotel 1929 is in a great location for catching the metro and exploring the rest of Singapore. Will be back in the future, much better than a bland corporate chain hotel." Jim Boe, Wolverhampton, UK
