A progressive luxury hotel designed by elite Hong Kong and international professionals with the highest standards of comfort and service. Superbly equipped and elegantly designed, the mood is sophisticated, cool and professional. And the Harbour View over Hong Kong island is breathtaking, especially in the evening when the famous neon skyline bursts into life.
Rooms range between USD $335 and USD $560 per night and includes a full breakfast.
There are three restaurants at Hotel ICON: The Market, Green and Above & Beyond.
The concept for The Market was inspired the wet markets of Hong Kong, and the layout and décor reflect this tradition. The open kitchens allow for an interactive experience in which guests can see the chefs preparing their food and there are stations for all manner of cuisine, from sashimi to Chinese to Western dishes.
Green is the more casual of the three dining establishments as a “neighborhood café” that affords guests views of the hotel’s indoor vertical garden, the largest in Asia.
Above & Beyond represents Hotel ICON’s fine dining experience, which specializes in dim sum and Cantonese cuisine. Above & Beyond was selected by Conde Nast Traveller UK as one of the Best New Restaurants of 2012.
Room choices include the ICON rooms, which are billed as being perfectly suited to business and leisure travelers. These afford guests views of the city, well-designed work spaces, and access to hotel perks such as free Wifi and free minibar.
The Above & Beyond Club rooms are the ultimate in luxury suites, with separate living and sleeping areas. These include complimentary services such as afternoon tea, evening cocktails, business facilities, full breakfast and a private library.
Once you’ve had your fill of wining and dining on the hotel grounds, a spa and health club are available for working out and relaxation.
Beyond the hotel walls lies Hong Kong, with a plethora of breathtaking views to be enjoyed and shopping to be indulged in.
Hotel ICON is a one-of-a-kind luxury boutique hotel that not only caters to international clientele, but also serves as a training ground for the exceptionally talented hospitality students of Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Every element of the hotel structure, décor and even staff attire were carefully crafted by reputable designers, giving a sense of overall cohesion and quality. Every staff member is equipped to answer guests’ inquiries on any number of subjects and needs, and the hotel has two in-house restaurants and a spa.
The interior design aspects reflect traditional Chinese thinking, with elements of the yin and yang appearing in guest rooms and common areas, but all is executed in a tasteful, modern, minimalist aesthetic. The ICON art collection includes 200 pieces of art, curated mostly from Hong Kong artists but a mainland Chinese and Korean artist are represented as well.
The Hotel ICON team prides itself on the fact that the experience here is a distinctive one, satisfying the basic need of a place to lie one’s head with a thoroughly modern, innovative approach. Guests have access to all that Hong Kong has to offer, including shopping, dining and entertainment.
"I was having a weekend trip with a friend and we really loved this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very nice and we liked especially the bathroom design. We stayed in a harbour view room and it was amazing. The top floor restaurant and lounge had great views and the atmosphere was just right. We will definitely stay there again. Shopping in Central is great with a mixture of lovely boutiques and shopping malls." Ying C., Australia
"We were amazed by the staff hospitality when we first arrived at the hotel. We were escorted by friendly staff to club lounge for private and personal check-in and were offered drinks … The room is spacious and beautifully designed. We were impressed by detail personal care supplies and you can even choose your own preferred pillows. … The room offers everything you need which includes The Nespresso coffee and mini bar with free snack and drinks (all snacks and drinks are refilled everyday). We are treated like royal and staff are so attentive to our needs. As we are vegetarian, we have been specially catered to for our diet requirements at breakfast. The services are superb and we are definitely spoilt during our stay at the hotel." Adika J., Australia
"My husband and I spent one night at the Hotel Icon in Hong Kong on our layover from Asia to Chicago. We had a lovely stay! We had a club level room on highest guest floor (right below the bar) - the view was lovely. Not only could you see the harbor and all the lights on the other side, but we could also see the lights from the buildings on our side of the harbor. We thought the location was convenient - a bustling area close to many restaurant choices (we loved the Sichuan Restaurant tucked in the mall a block/two away). The service, though, was what really blew us away at the Hotel Icon. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The hotel was modern, clean, with great amenities (beautiful work out area and heated pool with gorgeous views). I highly recommend." ChicagoCoco, Chicago
