Melapi restaurant serves food on a wooden terrace/jetty built over the river, and you are well fed (for non-vegetarians) throughout your stay.
First of all, remember that you are there for the rainforest and wildlife viewing experience. Facilities are basic but more than adequate and include an open lounge area with ceiling fan, restaurant serving soft drinks, beer and wine, open deck, library, gift shop, covered varendah, enclosed hanging garden and solar water heaters.
All twenty rooms are twin bedded with ceiling fan, mosquito netting, dressing table, attached bathroom and toilet with hot water, shampoo/soap dispenser with wall to wall ceramic tiles. The lodge offers a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied upon your arrival.
