From USD $125 to USD $180 per night (including tax).

The Victoria Chau Doc offers a wonderful range of both Vietnamese and European fare at the Bassac Restaurant.

Here you can explore the varied styles of Vietnamese cuisine from all of its provinces.

There are also barbeques held out on the terrace, offering stunning river views.

There is also the Tan Chau Salon bar with its range of fine wines, cocktails, beers and snacks. Conveniently, it also offers a service to the swimming pool area.

The guest rooms and suites at the Victoria Chau Doc have beautiful hardwood floors and soothing neutral linens.

They are decorated in a simple yet sophisticated style reflecting the hotel’s colonial era ambience.

The Deluxe rooms and Suites offer fantastic views over the river from their own private balconies. All rooms come with air-conditioning, satellite television, mini bars and a writing desk.

The Victoria Chau Doc offers a large swimming pool, a luxurious spa with a range of massages and treatments, a restaurant and bar, a souvenir shop, complimentary Wi-Fi in the public areas, a speedboat service connecting the hotel with Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and a range of boat trips and tours to floating markets, local villages and more.

There are also lots of recreational activities on offer including billiards, bridge, backgammon, tai chi and martial arts classes, bicycle hire and a fitness centre.

The Victoria Chau Doc Hotel is a charming, low rise hotel built in a French colonial style. It is set right on the Bassac River, a wide expanse of waterway where local fishermen and working boats provide endless photographic opportunities.

The hotel is a nod to Vietnam’s French colonial past, and its interiors evoke a bygone era of refinement and style. There is a large swimming pool between the hotel building and the river, with an eye-catching local fishing net hanging overhead. It is a short walk from the hotel to some of the town’s charming local eateries.

It is also a handy base from which to explore the river by boat or head on to Phnom Penh in Cambodia, perhaps on the Victoria’s own speedboat service.

There are also boat tours operated by the hotel exploring local fishing villages and floating markets. The hotel features a beautiful spa on its rooftop terrace, offering relaxing massages as well as amazing views over the Bassac.
