AirAsia X rolls out in-flight entertainment
LONG-HAUL budget airline AirAsia X recently introduced in-flight entertainment with the Xcite Inflight Entertainment tab.
Passengers get tablets pre-loaded with hours of entertainment including movies, TV shows, music, games, and magazines.
The content will be available in five languages – English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese – and will be offered free-of-charge to all passengers in the premium cabin.
Meanwhile, economy class passengers can rent the tab for US$13.5 while onboard or request the service online for US$11.
Benyamin Ismail, CEO of AirAsia X, said, “The all-new Xcite Inflight Entertainment, which offers a wider range of content and an improved viewing device for a seamless viewing experience, will definitely give our guests value for their money.
“The content will also be regularly updated to ensure our guests are getting the best quality entertainment when they travel with us.”
The Xcite tab package comes with a Huawei Mediapad 2 with a LED widescreen display as well as Harmon Kardon audio technology.
