You can now enjoy films, music and Internet on board AirAsia Indonesia
AirAsia Indonesia on Friday became the first airline in the country to offer Wifi and in-flight entertainment services.
“We are very proud to become the first low-cost carrier in Indonesia to launch such a service,” said AirAsia Group CEO in Indonesia Dendy Kurniawan was quoted as saying.
“The ROKKI service can be accessed directly on devices of passengers, allowing them to stay connected anytime, anywhere.”
To access ROKKI, passengers must simply activate the WiFi feature on their mobile device and then connect it to Wifi AirAsia-ROKKI to enjoy in-flight entertainment that includes a range of films and music, and a shopping catalogue.

The price to gain access to the service is also very affordable as the 3MB Chat Package only costs US$2.22, while the Internet Package was priced at US$4.44 for 10MB of data.

The airline is currently offering the service to domestic and international flights including destinations like Bali, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, Bangkok in Thailand, Singapore and Macau.
If passengers are unsure on the availability of the service on their flights, they can also refer to the stickers on their seats as well as an announcement from the cabin crew.
AirAsia Indonesia is also planning to offer the service on 10 airplanes by next year, the report said.
