IN SINGAPORE on a business trip with your team and you need a space to work? Got an important meeting and Starbucks is an ideal place?

Then you’re in luck because Singapore is home to some of the coolest co-working spaces in Asia.

What are co-working spaces? In a nutshell, it’s a shared workspace, much like an office.

But unlike a typical office, co-working space co-workers are not employed by the same organization.

Offering a solution to entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses, these offices allow them to rent a space they can call their office and let them escape the distractions of working from home.

It’s also a pretty neat place to socialize and network with like-minded people who are also working independently.

These cool co-working spaces in Singapore will change the way you feel about going to work.

The Great Room

Taking co-working spaces to a whole new level, The Great Room first opened at One George Street in 2016.

“Though workplace styles change, our dedication to changing the way people feel about going to work never will. We set the stage for you to gather your ideas, to be inspired by others and to do great work,” The Great Room wrote on its website.

All 15,000 square feet of the space is New York’s Upper East Side luxury hotel-inspired, decked in a blue-tan color scheme and furnished with leather sofas.

The Great Room offers everything from cart carrying cookies and hot chocolate to complimentary Monday morning breakfasts.

There are also other office-like amenities such as hot-desks, private meeting rooms, kitchens, coffee and more.

The Working Capitol

Whether you need a private office or a dedicated events venue, for your team or a quiet zone to work alone, the 33,000-square-foot The Working Capitol has it all.

“Productivity, buzz, and community are the words we most often hear used to describe the atmosphere in the space,” The Working Capitol wrote on its website.

It’s also home to a beer garden and The People Vs., a cafe that serves up an aromatic selection of coffees, teas, pastries, and more.

Need to take a quick shower? It’s got that facility. Hungry for some mid-day munchies? Head on over to its well-stocked pantry.
