FANS of Japan’s most adorable export have already been treated to Taiwan-based EVA Air’s Hello Kitty-branded plane and a Hello Kitty Shinkansen bullet train.

Now, a purr-fectly kawaii cottage on Japan’s Awajishima island in Hyogo Prefecture is aiming to make your Hello Kitty experience in the East Asian country whole.

The upscale Grand Chariot Hokutoshichisei facility on Awajishima island is a glamping resort in Japan that is known for its wonderful stargazing.

Its location along the 135th longitude line is believed to have given it healing and restorative properties. It boasts 23 individual cabins it calls “cocoons”, one of it being the newly converted Hello Kitty-themed cottage.

Dubbed “Hello Kitty Star’s Cocoon”, it features two beds and can hold two to four people, and it comes complete with all the trimmings bearing Hello Kitty’s image such as a mirror, skylight, wall art, bedspreads, and even bath salts.

Guests can not only enjoy luxurious meals while surrounded by lush nature but also being in the presence of the popular pink-bowed character all day and all night.

This is not the first Hello Kitty-themed accommodation in the world.

On the South Korean island of Jeju, Lotte Hotel offers Hello Kitty character rooms that are fit for a princess while Keio Plaza Hotel in the Japanese capital city of Tokyo has rooms decked out in the familiar feline’s face and pastel-colored girly aesthetics.

Keio Plaza Hotel’s Hello Kitty rooms even come with a Hello Kitty-themed room service breakfast and amenities such as bedroom slippers, stationery, and an exclusive plush toy.

Meanwhile, Johor’s Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour in Malaysia will leave you spoilt for choice as it is home to 10 deluxe Hello Kitty-themed rooms – three Sailor Hello Kitty rooms, three Oz Chapter rooms inspired by the magical Hello Kitty in Oz, and four Hello Kitty Pink Series rooms.

Awajishima island is located about 70 kilometers from Kobe, a city on Osaka Bay in central Japan.

Prices start from JPY92,000 (US$815.49) per night inclusive of two authentic Japanese meals, excluding tax and service charge.
